hello , i have a few cory questions.
my corys have bred 4 times now and the last batch was layed last saturday it is now wednseday. one egg has hatched and the tiny little baby is all on his own. i have put the eggs into a livebearer trap inside the tank in which they were layed, and now am woundering if it is best to take out the
tiny fry and move it into a plastic tub so i can do seperate small water changes. the container will be floating in the main tank to keep the temp constant. incase you are woundering there is only 1fry, due to my eggs mostly being duds. which brings me onto my next question, i have 3 male and 1 female c.aeneus of the albino variety. they have layed eggs four times and i have managed to rescue 3 of the 4 batches from my 120l community tank. the remaining batch was unfortunately eaten . in total there has been about 200eggs layed and only 8 in total have hatched 7 from the first batch and one from the latest. should i but another female to increase the number of egs being layed so more eggs may have a chance of being fertilized. or shall i buy another male to up the chances of the origional female's eggs being fertilized?
so here are my questions:
1. should i move the baby into a container?
2. should i but a female or male cory to up the chances of fertilization?
