So checking my tank this morning, under my root ornament there was a tiny fish, which resembled a very tiny cory!

So ive never intended to breed my corys but they do spawn every now and again but usually my other fish eat the eggs but clearly this one was very well hidden. the fry is actually large compared to the newborn fry ive seen so i would assume hes about 1-2 weeks old! how he survived i will never know but i will be going to my lfs to get some liquid feed for the wee guy.

Im really please, hopeing he makes it but you never know.

Any advice would be appreicated. i dont have another tank to put him in so i cant move him either.

Thanks
Katie

Congrats on your wee fry :good:

I wouldn't worry about getting liquid food, thats only for newly hatched fry,and TBH it does tend to foul the water, its survived this long, just crush up some food and pop it in the tank :)

agreed with above. From day one my cory fry were fed the normal sinking pellets not even crushed and they are now around 4 weeks old. :)
