Right now in my 20 gallon long I have a school of 4 (hopefully 6 soon) Venezuelan corydoras catfish. I can't seem to figure out what they like to eat! They neglect algae wafers and flake food. I know they're happy scavenging across the bottom and picking up flakes that float to the bottom, but I feel they should have their own food. Right now I only have the 4 of them in the tank so it feels like a waste of brine shrimp pellets.
What do I give them?? It's hard to measure when they don't come to the surface and pick up the food... can't really time them.

Scrap algae wafers for them as theyre not vegetarian.

Instead look into sinking shrimp pellets, Bug Bites pellets, and frozen foods, as well as carnivore based foods.
Northfin Carnivore pellets meant for larger fish do well with cories, just break a tab into 1/4s and feed 1 quarter to them.
OmegaOne shrimp pellets are usually a hit, 1 large pellet or 2 smaller ones would be good.
Bug Bites is a very good staple for them too.

I agree.

I feed my little guys (and girls) Omega One shrimp pellets:

I crush mine up for them, because their mouths so small.

Thanks everyone! I've started feeding shrimp pellets supplemented with frozen brine shrimp and blood worms.
