Cory Eye Probs

Hi,
One of my corys seems to have slightly more bulging eyes that the other, ive looked in my book and it says it could be tuburquolis and says i should remove him straight away, but i dont have another tank to put him in, and i dont want to flush him incase he's just got bigger eyes than the other one, is there any more signs i should be looking for other than the eyes?
any help appreciated
