Cory Eggs

Can corys lay eggs that haven't been/don't get fertilised?Since the 3rd of this month my bronze corys have laid 3 lots.I have transfered some eggs from the first two lots into a hatchery sitting at the filter outlet but nothing has come of it.

Its possibly the eggs are infertile,but usual reason for eggs not hatching is poor circulation around the eggs,use of an airstone flowing over the eggs is good,and temp too high...
