Heya folks, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if trumpet snails will eat cory eggs.
Probably a stoopid question, but I figured I ask before I scraped the eggs off the glass. :(

Well I'd say its was possible. They crawl up the glass at night and I reckon if they came across eggs they might.

Though i have heard that cory breeders keep trumpet snails in hatching tanks because they clean the eggs and apparently on eat the dud ones that aren't going to hatch :) . Ask at the cory section of the forums to be sure though.

I think they do.. I had some eggs go missing in a snail infested tank.. but it may have been the corys.
MTS will only eat rotting dead stuff.. so maybe they dont.

Well, thanks for the replies folks, as for whether or not they eat them I guess I wont know first hand as all the eggs hatched. :D
Another batch to trade at the pet stores. :)
