My Corys laid eggs again today. :D
Is it okay for them to be on the heater?

Can you tell if these eggs are okay? Right color etc...?

Thanks

Hi Loughrea :)

Your eggs look fine, but it would probably be a good idea to gently roll them off the heater and stick them on the glass. It's best to move them about 8 hours after they have been laid because the will have had a chance to firm up but will still be sticky enough to adhere to the glass side of the tank.

If they are no longer sticky, you will probably want to turn the thermometer off until they hatch.

If you're going to keep this batch, it's time to remove the substrate, etc. and set it up so that there is an airstone causing water to constantly flow over the eggs. This will help prevent fungus from setting in.

Good luck with them! :D

Thanks Inchworm,

I can always count on you. :D

Little bugger scrattered them all over the tank this time.
