Hey,

I was just wondering, does anyone know is there any breed of brightly coloured cory?

Don't get me wrong, I love corys just the way they are, they were my first ever tropical, I'v seen grey, green, brown, blackish, albino but I was wondering if any really bright display colours rather than camoflague (sp?).

Ooo! imagine a cory with krib colours, now that would kick a$$.

Obviously, I'm totally anti dying, thats not what i'm on about.

Cheers

Green Lazers are very colorful cories.

Look at Barracuda518 recent post, he has pictures of his new arrived green lazers!

I have never seen any orange lazers...do you have any pics of them KathyM?

Green Lazer^^^

If you look at the pictures with the green lasers, you will also see the orange lasers:

I need to get some more pictures. These were taken 3 days after I got them and they werent completely settled in yet. I like them both, but if I had to choose, I would choose the green lasers :good:

Oh okay! They are great cories!

Barracuda-how much do green lazers or orange lazers usually cost??

Well, the hardest part is finding them. It look me a long time to get these. I payed $10 bucks a piece plus shipping for the green lasers off of aquabid. The orange lasers were $6 a piece plus shipping from the same seller. You just gotta keep checking until you see them for sale :D

While corys come in the basic colors, with many different patterns, there are a number of brightly colored ones too.

Here's a picture of my orange lasers:

Here's another pretty one, but not as bright as the laser corys. It's a C. rabouti. The C. zygatus is similar.

And the C. seussi is brighter than it appears in this picture.

Awsome, cheers, I gotta get me some Lazers they look lush.

Never seen any for sale in UK. Anyone know of any doing the rounds at the moment? preferably within 50 mile radius of Wilts?

Wouldn't mind changing a few fish round and setting up a Cory orientated tank, any big no no's with this or cories that don't get on? I'v had some peppered that didn't get on with albinos in the past they didn't hurt each other that much but there was a little bullying.

Hi lozronz :)

All corys seem to get along with each other. There are no aggressive corys. They do interact with each other and what you observed might have been play. A cory community is a lot of fun to watch.

The most important thing is to match the corys by the temperature of the water they require. I also like to match them by size, but this is not critical. :D

Trimar had green and orange lasers. They were pretty expensive though if I remember rightly. Looks like they've sold out now, as they're not on their list.
