Cory catfish reaction to new light

I got a new light with the help of some people in another thread, and today aftfer i installed them, one of my cories(male green cory ) i think is not moving much....
is he just stressed? Nofrayed fins

Possibly, they are more active at night. Does it have anywhere it can hide/get some shade?
Do you just have the one cory? If so, that can stress them out, they prefer to be in groups of at least 6

In group of 6 but i only had 2 gren ones as rhere were only 2 planning to get another one. His friend went over and he us a tad bit more active will keep updated. There is a lot of amazon sword in the dim side

i turned down the light a few notches, hes still stressed, i dont want him to die

update: today he got up to eat a little... went back to his spot after eating. good signs right?

Ive found that each Cory has its own thing it likes to do. My group of 6 would all rest together but activity wise they were different. Some would swim to the top, others would not. Some would rest after eating, others would not, Some dont mind light, where others dont like it

true. everybody else hangs out on the bottom and near the glass, and one of the small spotted males goes upside down on the top of the tank and on some plants.... this one used to be normal...

1 more thing,
I have a strong air pump with 2 stones at opposite ends of the tank & a few of them liked being blasted up & down in the bubbles, Then they swam out along the back of the tank into the bubbles at the other end. They would do this for a while. I would just say keep your eye on the Cory in question

Yes ? i will turn up the stone, i only have 1 stone sadly
