Hi! Can someone tell me if I can put my 2 catfish in my 5 gallon tank with my one month old baby guppies? I have a aqua mini reunning and all the amonia, ph, nitrate and nitrite levels are perfect. I am just concerned that the cory will not have enough to eat because I feed all my babies dried crushed flake food. Most of the food falls to the bottom of the tank, but is that enough for the catfish or do they need big flakes? Please reply!

I'd imagine the cats will eat the babies. What type of cats are they? Many species of cat would grow far too big for a 5 gallon tank. -_-
Hugs.

I usually keep 3 corys in with my swordtail fry but my fry tanks are 10 gallons. They do a wonderful job of cleaning up after the babies and I've never had any problems with them eating the fry. A 5 gallon is a little on the small side for corys (especially if they're real active), but if you stay on top of the water quality you could probably get away with it for short term. Do you know what species of Cory they are? How big are they currently?
