First, let me suggest you get a few more corys whether or not you want to breed them. They are schooling fish and do best in groups of three or more. While you can breed them with only one male to one female, it's usually a good idea to have 2 males to each female.
What kind of corys do you have, and are they mature? If you have one of each, the female will be the bigger one, both in length and girth. It's often easier to tell if you look down at them from above. One of the easiest ways to know that you have a mature pair is to look for eggs deposited on the tank glass.
