Cory Breeding & Sexing?

now, as daft as this sounds, can corys interbreed between different species?

now, i didnt think they could, but one of the leopards is really close to a pepper, or is it just a bond they have?

and how do you sex a cory?

is it true females are more slender than males and males are bigger in general?

With my leopards the females are larger and more rounded compared to the male who is slender

The peppers the male is smaller than the female and in proportion to body length, the dorsal fin and pectoral fins are longer on the male than the female.

Not sure on the interbreeding thou
