I noticed something this evening... My cory cat has not moved from one spot in three days. He isn't dead, he simply sits on top of the big rock, breathes, and doesnt move. He otherwise looks fine, and seems just peachy. He just doesn't move. -_-

Are you SURE he's not moving? Corys are nocturnal, so they'll often stay in the same area for most of the day, and do their scrounging around at night. Mine have staked out a shady spot that they sit in all day, but when I turn the light on at night I always find them moving around. They do return to the same spot daily though, so maybe that's what's happening with yours? If not, is he alone? Corys are MUCH more active within a school, preferrably at least 3 or more. Maybe he's lonely, or being picked on.

yeah my cory too... the first day i bought it it was swimming all over nonstop. now it justs sits in one position and doesnt budge

You only talked about one Cory so I am going to assume you only have one. Bad idea, they are schooling. I have three of them and they will just sit on the bottom together for hours on end. At first I was always checking on them to make sure they were alive. They start going nuts and swimming laps at lights out though.

Well this morning he was moving, so he made a liar out of me. :p I still see him frequently sitting in his old spot though. But he does move.
Yes, he is lonely.. he's kind of an oddball. I bought him for my betta, but my aggressive little man wouldn't leave him alone, so I put him in the community tank. But I get paid tomorrow, and I do plan on buying a couple more cories, as well as a breeder net.. I'm expecting fry any day now!
