Hi, I'm looking at getting a few more Corys - I realy like them but seem to browse over them for some reason.

I have 2 Albino ones at the moment who are about 2 years old. I'd like three of something else, my lfs has panda and leopard ones - so i was wondering which the best are?

I understand from reading here the pandas are a bit tempremental - you either get a good batch or a bad batch where they die quickly - is this right? They would be my first choice.

Secondly what are the leopards like - are they quiet etc?

Just wondering what experience anyone who keeps these varieties has had with them.

Thanks a lot,
Simon.

I would go for leopard because I have also heard Pandas are a little more difficult to keep healthy and alive...just my opinion.

I have no had any problems with my cories and i dont understand why i have so much luck with them compared to most others on this site(pandas). Just make sure you do a gravel clean once every week with a 25% water change and you should be fine with them.Ive got both (lepords and pandas)and have had no problems with either, mine have the same typical personalities as a normal cory, sit somewhere sheltered, eat, swim a little then go rest somewhere else. I like them both the same so its up to you which you prefer.

thanks everyone, i looked at both for ages.... then went for the pandas :D

they're really active - they've taken over a cave - sitting ontop of it when the lights are on and in it at night.

i'll try to get some pics in the picture section when they come out more - here's one for now though....
