Just got an email basically saying I am out of work as of the end of the month without it actually saying it, and no income as the JSS is a pile of pants if the business can't operate. (In England there are grants but the NI executive haven't announced anything yet.)
One small wedding may be all the work on now until the end of the year, no where near the 1/3 of my hours required to qualify for the JSS.
I have been looking for another job and have signed up with 2 agencies but everything has so many applicants it's soul destroying, I haven't been out of work since starting work.
The only good thing lately is the savings made on childcare and while I have found it difficult I honestly don't know where I would be today if I didn't have the kids..........even though I have been close to killing them more than once........

Well I had one friend die in a home from it.and Tuesday I got a call that another young friend got it from the airport in Detroit two weeks ago it seems like everyday there's one more lately in my county.so so not too sure what to believe anymore I feel it's out there but I'm not afraid .just careful

I spent 18 months unemployed prior to getting my job ten years ago, I joined maybe 100 sites/agencies. Yes it is sould destroying, I completely understand where you are coming from. I wasn't getting any work and yet I had a degree in business and about 2 years work experience in call centres.

Wearing a facemask does not impinge on any article of the bill of human rights.
Taking precautions to prevent spreading a virus enhances some of them.

I haven't said a word about facemasks, think they are totally pointless though, and a sad indictment to people's gullibility and need to obey.

You didn't say anything on facemasks however lockdown is useful because it is not remotely helpful to society to have the virus run rampant and close our hospitals down because of every bed being utilised by a covid19 patient.


On a side note to the other posted regarding masks, I know the science is 50/50 however I just don't see in my non-expert opinion how a mask is stopping microscopic particles from flowing past the mask into the air as a lungful of air full of any given virus is expelled in 2 seconds flat... Medical masks are not bio-hazard masks such that one would use in say a chemical warfare situation so what's the point?

I'll have to be brief, have to be up at 5am every day to do Scaffolding, so I don't really have time for eloquence or to express everything I have to say.

It's also not remotely useful to have the economy collapse and all the mental health problems, and people dieing from delayed operations etc.

It's all to kick off this track and trace thing, but also to make people do exactly what they want you to do. The track and trace is only just getting started, but once it's built up and refined everything you do and everyone you come into contact with is all recorded and you will have absolutely no privacy. You will stay at home when they want you to stay at home.

They will decide exactly when the "next wave" hits and we all have to sit at home again, and the hospitals are "rammed full of Covid patients" (all a pack of lies).

It's a load of nonsense, they make it up as they go along.

I don't really listen to mainstream news, the reporters words are more or less hot air to me.

I watched the video, but I have not seen any pre-covid videos of the inside of an Italian emergency ward to make any comparison.

I just see people in a hospital, and the reporter insisting that these people are all dieing of covid. It doesn't prove anything and for all I know could be a set from the next Steven Spielburg movie.

As I said, there probably was a virus sent round, but it was deliberate and for the purpose of forcing everyone to obey.

I know that scares some people, whether they know it or not, and so they cling to the lie, and react with disdain to anybody who dare's question it. They feel safe and secure believing everything the lieing Government tells us. Deep down inside these self-deluded people are actually the most terrified of all.

The science is not 50/50. The masks can't and aren't designed to stop individual viruses, they're designed to stop water droplets. Viruses are tiny and easily small enough to pass through most materials, even standard medical masks. However, you don't breathe out individual (dry) viruses, you breathe out water droplets (tiny ones that are suspended in the air). The viruses are within these droplets. The water droplets are too large to pass through a properly constructed face mask. Thus, wearing a mask is effective in stopping the spread of the virus.

Note, not all facemasks work. I commonly see people wearing buffs and other thin, stretchy masks. These masks do not work. In fact, I've heard that they may be worse than wearing no mask at all because they make the water droplets smaller and more numerous (imagine blowing water through a mesh), and smaller water droplets stay airborne for longer and can travel further.

Well said, very good post. The masks are also actually very bad for people who do have a virus or flu.

It's pretty much clear cut, there is absolutely no point in wearing a mask, in fact they are more of a detriment to your health.

We know it, they know it, the question is WHY are they insisting on people wearing face-nappies, when we all know it's completely pointless, nay detrimental.

Well, the opinion is 50/50 however I agree in the flawed usefulness of them, as I said I don't believe face masks will stop a virus contaminating others.
