Thought I'd join in with this part of the forum a bit, here are a few shots from the past winter down here in Cornwall. The processing may not be to everyone's tastes!

very cool photos, what prog are you using to create the effects?
 
The long exposures (which provide the blurred effects to the skies and water) are achieved by shooting in very low light and/or using a 6-stop ND filter, the rest is a combination of exposure blending and localised adjustments using masks in photoshop.
 
I love them. they seem "otherworldly", but at the same time, give a feel of the mystery of the sea

Those are amazing Tom and very familiar. Nice to see a fellow Cornish person on the forum :good:
 
Spectacular!!! Porthcurno and Portreath are my favorites but all are great.
