My cories are swimming up and down my tank wall over and over again, sometimes rather fast. Why? Is this stress related?

They are very healthy, all barbels intact, no spots on the skin, no tail/fin damage, no flicking on objects. I've even got the water at a cool 70 for them. They're Panda Cories if anyone needs to know.

Should I be worried?

I have 2 cories, and they do that sometimes, so I think that this is normal... I have seen them do it countless times, I think they liketo chase their reflections or eat the moss or fungi or whatever you call it off the glass.

Hi,

My platys do exactly the same thing. Up and down like yo yo's. At first I thought they had gone nuts but now I think its their reflections that they chase and maybe the males think that they are looking at more potential mates!!!!

It's perfectly normal cory behaviour. We have 5 pandas, 2 sterbai and 5 bronze cory's in our tank, they all do it. The younger one's normally do it more than the older cory's. :D I think they do it to get our attention, they are very loveable fish :p This could also be a sign that they are about to breed. My female bronze does this frantically for about 2 days before she spawns.

Sorry for posting this in the wrong section!!

Here is a pic of them and their tank with their night lights on:

They're obviously babies, but one/two is about an inch long(probably a little over). What age do cories spawn at and how old do you guys think mine are?

Also, are there any websites on spawning cories or do ya'll know anything about it?

I've thought about breeding them but wasn't sure how easy it was.
