Mate, that question is so broad no one would know where to begin ansswering it. For corals, your lighting and water stats need to meet a certain requirement before you can actually add anything, and have it thrive.
What lighting do you have, and what are your water stats, including calcium and alk.
There are basically two types of coral, roughly dividing what we keep in our tanks. SPS and LPS. SPS = Small polyp stony, and LPS = Large polyped stony. SPS require very stable water stats, and when you stock heavily, they will require either a calcium reactor, or regular additions of kalkwasser. They also require high amounts of light, T5's and MH's.
LPS, aka flubber is the more recognised "beginner" coral, although I dont think its only for the beginner. Some species can grow well with moderate lighting, like 2 or more T8 tubes. They dont require a calcium reactor like SPS, unless you have trouble maintaing alk/calc.
A starfish? Well, there are many, but in such a small tank, id say no. They starve, and dont do well in any tank short of 75g.
