For a tank that size you wouldnt have to spend much money on "proper salt". One bag would probably do ya for a good long while. Some people use table salt- others dont. I probably wouldnt use table salt......then again- I probably would. Go and buy some aquarium salt- just to be on the safe side. :p
 
I was just wondering if anybody is using this light? I just ordered the 48" 4x65w and 48" 2x65w freshwater versions. Does anybody have any feedback? If not, I'll be sure to let people know how it all goes when I get them. :)
 
I have the 48" saltwater one on my 45 gallon...looks awesome on freshwater...discus, rams, kribs and rummynose tetras...

I also have the 24" plant one....not using it at the moment though, don't know if I ever will...but it also is an awesome light....

Both have built in cooling fans, 2 power cords for seperate timers, two power switches....

All around, I am very impressed with these lights. :nod:
