Coral Of The Week

Been thinking, yes i know before my little sister says anything, a rare event shall we start having a coral of the week ( I don't mean a competition), we could put our own photos on and discuss care etc and experiences, what do you think?

We could start on Saturday with maybe Sarcophyton

why not just start now lol maybe a members coral section type thing were people can come see what pros and cons there are of certain corals

Good idea I think..as we all know our critters ain't read the books we have and dont always stick to the rules,lol...
A catalogue of keeper experiences with species would be a valuable asset to the forum and very useful to potential new keepers

Lovely idea.

If there is not a profile for that coral then this could surely become part of that aswell.

I am sure evryones experiences are different aswell due to tank parameters being different etc.

Should do it once a week on a certain day. and the night before, you post what the coral is going to be, and get people to PM you there experiances or somthing and then its like:

Coral Name:
Coral Picture:
Water Params:
Etc:
Etc:
Etc:


Seffies Experiance:

Trods Experiance:

Tinas Experiance:

YF's Experiance:

etc.

Just an example though, im sure there are better ways to do it, I will leave it to you guys!

just have it in a thread where people reply with their experiences. nothing to do with what you have heard or anything like that. just the pros and cons you noticed and any tips that may help people. the posts should be kept short and sweet too if possible so readers looking for info dont get bored
