Cheers :good:

I believe that's a Cladiella genus coral, aka Colt Coral, aka Cauliflower Coral

Yeh that looks like it - cheers ski :good:

Yeh it's a lovely colour - really pleased

The name "colt" and "Cladiella" is truly all-encompassing these days. I may have called it a Nepthea or Lithophyton. Same care applies.

You haven't gathered? ;)

Though to be honest I wouldn't call correcting ID's, or stating other possibilities, petty nit-picking. I am, rationally or not, a little annoyed with people's habit of reasoning "since we don't know what it is, it must be a Colt". Whether this has been done here or not I am uncertain, but I was simply stating other possibilities. The true identification of many corals is difficult at best.

Yeah, makes it tough doesn't it? Gets to be a real PITA identifying many corals down to the species level
