The label just said "red coral" cuz they just got it in, and weren't told what it was. So therefore, they didn't say anything about the requirements besides that it seemed like it was doing well for the few weeks they had it.
It extends it's tentacles when it senses food in the water, like when the sand is stirred up, and they are really sticky so i feed it. The tentacles are in a circle around it, {you can only see half of them in the pic} and they close up together putting the food into the very visible mouth that also opens when it senses food.
It now has a tube coming from the back of it, sticking up about a quarter inch above the coral, that extends one of those long sticky strings during feeding.
It is a hard coral. The flesh is also very sensitive to touch, it tenses up like a muscle when the shrimp walk on it. The flesh is also really squishy, like when you touch it, it's like flour, like nothings there.
