Coral Frenzy was developed to reach certain specifications for feeding a coral tank. It was designed to be an all in one food source for your corals so you would not have to hassle with 10 different foods to satisfy all of your corals.

CORAL FRENZY CONTAINS:
Oyster Larvae, Salmon Roe, Fish Protein, Rotifers, Copepods, Daphnia, Dunaliella salina, Haematococcus Pluvialis, Spirulina, & Schizochytrium. It is rich in amino acids, proteins, carotenoids, HUFA, PUFA, & Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids.

The combination of these ingredients creates a notable feeding response and helps with coral growth and color as they consume the product. Coral Frenzy is a great food for sps, lps, zoanthids, softies, and other filter feeding organisms.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Why feed your corals?

Corals have a symbiotic relationship with zooxanthellae algae in their tissue that they receive nutrition from, but most corals also have a feeding apparatus for catching food like phytoplankton, zooplankton, and bacterial plankton. Many tanks are so well filtered that there is not enough "food" in the water column for corals to feed from. Supplementing with Coral Frenzy replenishes these planktons.

Corals react with a feeding response when Coral Frenzy is put into the aquarium and can even be seen capturing food particles and ingesting them. This extra energy can then be used for growth and multiplying.

I read that most corals do not eat phytoplankton.

While this is true because most corals are carnivores, phytoplankton is at the bottom of the food chain. It actually feeds the micro fauna in your tank. The micro fauna then feeds your corals. Coral Frenzy contains a unique formula of zooplankton and phytoplankton to help satisfy the carnivorous appetites of your corals. No other coral food on the market provides this diversity of supplements.

Does Coral Frenzy contain Cyclop-eeze?

No, Coral Frenzy does not contain Cyclop-eeze. Cyclop-eeze is a product made by Argent Chemical Laboratories.

Do I need to refrigerate Coral Frenzy?

You do not have to refrigerate Coral Frenzy, but it will stay fresher if you decide to.

What is the shelf life of Coral Frenzy?

If kept in a cool dry place, it will easily stay fresh for 12 months. It will not go bad like live food cultures, which spoil if left out of the refrigerator and can be dangerous to give to corals past expiration dates.

How do I use Coral Frenzy?

For a 50 gal tank: Mix 1/4 tsp vigorously with a glass of aquarium water and pour into a high flow area or target feed. Feed 2X-3X a week depending on your systems needs. When starting out, we recommend that you use less. How many times have you heard a company tell you to use less of their product?

How long will a bottle of Coral Frenzy last?

Each bottle will feed a 100 gallon tank for approximately 2 to 3 months depending on how often you use it.

Sounds like convenience food or snake oil to me :)

I use Coral Frenzy once per week... The Bubble and Torch Corals both react well to it, I turn off skimmer - mix CF with water and add to a stream. Corals open up, bubble corals tentacles appear. I have heard that you must be careful with dosage size.

Have a google and you can see some user reviews, 2 LFS also use it in their coral displays.

I GUESS 99% of the matter will become waist (not caught by the corals). Its like putting Icecream on a 12' steel pole... ya those kids will react and jump for it, but they are just getting the drips.

Golden pearls, and oyster eggs are the most boyant of the foods (coming from speaker info, not experience), and neither of them last for more than an hour. Live food is about the only thing that will not decay "immediately" in your tanks. Of course raising them is a hobby in itself.

I do feed LPS directly with a tweasers... and my anems of course :)

PE mysis, but any frozen food should be of some bennifit (rinsed). PE is the brand used by most large aquarium curators. I blindly follow them :)

Coral Frenzy is just like a fine powder so it dissolves almost instantly when dropped into a stream. Guess this is great for filter feeders.

I bought it as I spoke to about 8 people who totally recommend it, would be good to hear some others comments...

i to bought it off the advice of several people who are using it. i plan on feeding well below the suggested dosage as well as only 2 MAYBE 3 times a week. and only spot feed as well.

my corals get squid, flake, pellets, a mixture of frozen fish foods... I wouldnt bother spending huge amounts for a not so effective food that looks cool when a cheaper easier way is stuff that you probably already have on hand.

Hi mate, do you have any references for it being a 'not so effective food', I'm interested as I have not heard one bad thing about this product and always for days after feeding, the bubble and torch coral look great?

not so great meaning high price, can rot, not all is used up, small particles (good and bad thing depending on what corals you feed)

I mean, i squirt a tiny bit of baby brine shrimp into my torches tentacles and it looks really healthy. And a packet of frozen baby brine is like... 5 american dollars. My brain expands crazily after feeding of some squid, which is also very cheap, zoanthids grow faster when i squirt some baby brine on them or some live brine/mysis/krill combo. If you want to spend the extra money on this product, go ahead, but i would rather save my money on more corals.

Plus live phytoplankton works better IMO since it is the bottom of the food chain, complicated, wont go into detail unless you are interested.

Seriously everyone. Feed your fish well and your corals will be fed by that process.
