Does anyone have any good places to go to get coral frags?

My lfs doesnt have many and wondered if there are like clubs that have frag markets or any decent online frag stores.

what type of frags are you after?

fishman frags - good mixture!

reefworks - amazing SPS

zoaphoria - awesome for zoas and rics at good prices!

all my fave online ones!

Im not sure to yet to be honest, that why I wondered if there was a sort of market like once a month or something so you could actually go round and have a look.

Thanks for the links though I will check them out.

Ben listed prob the best ones. Reefworks is based in Bromley, Kent. Dont think that is too far from you and if you contact him you can go and have a look. I will be very soon. Great frags.

Hope that helps/

How's your tank running now mate?

I take it you got things sorted with your diatoms/deadspots as your thinking of adding frags.

ish, I have re scaped the rock so it was not so tightly packed for better flow, re positioned power heads to get the dead spots and am 4 weeks in to carbon dosing with Vodka and vit C....things are looking better just a small sport of Diatom's now.

Im waiting for the carbon dosing to bring my Nitrates down (this should start happening next week going by everyone else's carbon dosing reports) then I am going to get a few frags and start my sump project.

I have my decent camera back from my firend now so will update the journal later with some better pics.

Fingers crossed.

There's a place near me called 'cultured coral collection' in North Cheam, not that far from Croydon (depends whereabouts in Croydon!) they have tons of SPS frags, and some LPS..

Yeah I heard about that place it only opened recently didnt it?

Well my post code and address is Croydon but it's more Wallington, I know where the place is as I used to work in Cheam.

Might take a look, so you recommend it?

Wallington! You well close! I work in the Wallington area. Yes def worth a visit! Not that far at all aswell! What LFS do you use?

Might go for a visit tomorrow (if there open).

At the moment I use Heritage aquatics, I know a couple of the guys who work they as I used to work with them but they tend to have loads of full size corals but hardly any frags.

ive always fancied a trip to Heritage aquatics, looks brilliant

The website like most makes it look bigger than it is but they have got loads of stuff.

Not sure were you live but if you do fancy a road trip let me know I could always meet you, it's not the easiest place to find it's hidden down so old farm land roads
