hi all,

i'm after some frag plugs that'll fit into egg crate so that i can frag some of my zoas etc.
ideally they need to be sand/rock based rather than plastic.

have been looking but the only ones i can find are on coral culture, and their p&p charge ain't cheap.

Cant remember seeing any for sell cheap. I always just buy a big bit of base rock and smash it up into bits to attach frags to.

yeah i've previously done something similar, but the bi-colour blennie and the long-nose hawkfish have got into the habit of sitting on the frag rack and knocking things off :shout: so i need them to plug into the egg crate now.

Depending on how much the frag plugs cost it might be worth buying a box of marine putty. You can then use rock rubble and make a "stalk" for it out of marine putty so that it is secure in the egg-crate. You could also make your own frag plugs using one of the DIY LR methods that are knocking about (though you would have to wait for them to cure first).

I have a feeling Trod and I saw some at Coventry aquatics many months ago, might be worth emailling them
