Hey I have some weird little flat "things" crawling all over some mushrooms and such. What are they and should I worry?

They may be flat worms...red ones....what is the best way to rid myself of them?

rut roh, could be the dreaded "red bugs". Are the mushrooms suffering from the "ifnestation"? If not, you've likely got flatworms. If they are suffering, it could be one of a few species of coral-eating underwater arthropods. Best way to treat red bugs is with Interceptor, and flatworms are a PAIN to get rid of. I've heard of some people having success adding a sixline wrasse and/or ironically a mandarin goby for natural predation but if you try and kill the flatworms with flatworm exit, you'll kill lots of other inverts in the tank as well :(

Another option is the Bannana Wrasse if you get those over there. Agreed, flatworm exit will affect other inverts, so id leave it as a last resort.

Flat worms really aren't that big a problem though, so long as you don't forget to feed the tank for a few days, There are also flat worm eating Nudis that will take care of the problem for you.
