If i had a tank that had copper based treatments added say 7 months ago, and the tank was emptied and cleaned.. Can i use this tank for marine, or would there still be traces of copper in the tank from.. say the silicone? if so how can i get rid of the copper that maybe in this tank? is there some type of copper sponge that can be bought?

thx in advance.. again...

Hi..I'd fill it with water...let it stand a few days, then test the water for copper. I do believe that there are copper binders but I have no experience with them. SH
