Anyway, by Brother had one of these when he had Fishees. Are they common to get? I was about 10 when i last saw one, so not sure how easy they are to get hold of. Anyway, i was facinated with them, and i would like to have them in my tank. Any info on these would be appreciated.

Masses of info here for you !
They are lovely fish to keep in a community tank. They are more commonly known as Kuhli loaches and are widely available in the majority of tropical fish shops. Just ask if you can't see them though, as they often hide

i have about 10 lfs in my local area and at leat 7 of them sell coolie loaches
u shud have no problem getting hold of one. when i was younger i bought a second hand tank i found a coolie loach in the tank under the gravel LOL the previous owner thought it was dead

the strange thing arond us is that no one has had any for about 6 months!

My sister has been looking for some and no-one has had any!
so last weedend she gave up and bought a few corrys instead.

we then went to a different shop (a regular that hasn't had any)
to find 3 hiding upder a bit of bog wood - the funny thing is that even the staff didnt know they were there!
