Well My convict laid eggs in my comminity tank, I know Im a retard but my dad bought them said they look kool, Now I heard of the aggresin when breeding. BUT mine has the eggs in a leave but the only person defending is a female I dont see no male, But are my fish going to be safe in there the convicts are atleast 1 inch long, Can I put them in a 5 gallon tank I have empty.

If you only have a female convict and she laid eggs they will not hatch. You need a male. In a few days they will die and she will eat them and that's the end of that.

If there is a male in the tank (your post sounded like there wasn't) then when the fry hatch, 6 days later they will become freeswimming and THEN they will be at their most aggrssive behavior

if there is just a female you should take the eggs out when they mold. she'll prolly eat em but they are moldy

Actually theres a male in the tank the prod poppa, They hatched today there so small right now, Only little black dots, LOL, Alright so the bred now do I have to move them to their own or keep them in the community.

if you want to raise them up then siphon them when they become freeswimmers and care for them. if not then let what happens happen. your cons will become agressive though. i raise mine in a 10 and i keep the ones i like. i then usually use the rest as feeders since no pet stores can handle more cons and my friends have no room. =/
