Hi im thinking about gettin a pair of cons for my 0 gal to breed. but dont worry as sooon as they have the eggs im gonna give the cons to a better home. i just want to ask what do coms need to lay their eggs on or do they do it in a cave. or do they need a flat rock?

All three above that you have said will be fine, they ley them everywhere, but i think you mean 30g tank right? it will be ok for about 2 months then it might start to be over packed with babies, just remember they lay eggs every 3 weeks, thats alot of babies.

find a home for them first or a mouth to feed them to before anything because you can end up with hundreds of babies with one batch

could i keep a pair in a 10 gal for a while or would it be too smalll.just a pair no other fish

I think you could start with a pair in a 10g, when they are quite small (2-3inches), but you would have to upgrade when they grow...
