Convict Fry

Hey, im just wondering if I can seperate the fry from the parents yet. They hatched about a week ago. Thanks for any replies.

mine hatched about a week ago and the dad started eating them so i separated the fry and put them in a separate tank today...

Generally Convicts are good parents and I personally would keep the fry with the parents.
The parents eat the fry if they are in experienced or are constantly hasseled and give up.

If the convicts prove to be good parents, then keep the fry with them, but if the brood dies or another problem occurs then raise the young yourself and seperate them.
