Convict Eggs Out Of Water?

to cut a long story short i was redoing my tank yesterday, pulled out the first bit of bogwood and put it on a towel on the floor, i noticed my convicts swimming erratically. last time they done this they had eggs. so i looked on the bog wood and there was hundreds of eggs.

the wood was out of the water for about 5 minutes, my it was very moist and lots of water had been running down onto the eggs.

i could see the eggs this morning and sum had turned white but the majority were final with black spots in them, i guess the eyes.

so i wondered has anyone else had this happened? if the eggs were damaged would they have turned white by now?

Sounds like they will be fine to me mate. Fingers crossed anyway.
