Ðidn't think you would need dithers for Convicts...And if you dont have a large tank like a 40+gal i wouldn't recommend anything as they would probably be attacked or forced to stay in a small section of the tank. I wouldn't introduce any new fish into a tank of breeding consand you should be aware that the female will usually hide herself quite a bit while protecting fry while the male should be pretty visible guarding his territory.
