Convict Compatibility

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what fish i can have with my convicts, these are the fish i had in mind:

Maybe some;
firemouths or
large tin foil barbs or
large tiger barbs or
other barbs or
other ideas

You'll need to be more specific. Are they a pair, or two females? How big is the tank?

i have a pair in a 48x18x15 tank

Then you'll find they become extremely aggressive towards everything once they start breeding.

How many gallons is your tank? It probably isn't suitable for tinfoil barbs.

You can try some quick-moving barbs if your tank is more than 40 gallons but they are not immune from attack even then. I don't like risking my fish so I'd not suggest mixing the convicts with other fish in anything smaller.

I'd avoid adding more cichlids myself.
