Hi guys recently planned on converting my current wooden shed to house a few fish tanks possible 6ish or there abouts.
Now i have seen various posts showing the sheer scale of some projects, but hear me out.
If i was to totally insulate each surface entirley and seal them in, aswell as the door's with either poly sheets or proper wall insulation would this suffice? There is already sockets in the shed with lighting etc so essentially just insulate the interior and how do you think say 6, 10-15g tanks would cope?
I understand the flooring may be an issue with the weight, but it is a flat floor onto the concrete patio round the side of my house which i beleive would be more than adequate to take the weight planned as there is currently a lot of gear in there at the moment.
Ive seen some 300w heaters available at a bargain price or would be using an oil radiator or similar to keep the place at a constant temperature, plus heaters within the tanks themselves. Filtration is the next port of call but extablishing the room itself is no.1
Please, let me know any expirience or thoughts because if not ill be planning my hardest to make this happen.
Thanks in advance!!! Cant wait to hear your opinions
