hi there i curently own 1 marine tank which is an aqua medic chromis.
Upstairs i own a aqua one AR-850 tank which i am currently running as fresh water. I would really like to convert this tank over but i am unsure as to what i would need. obviously i know i would need a skimmer and so on but mainly in ways of lighting what could i use. In the hood that is with the tank now ther is 3 flourescent tubes which i could change over maybe?? Also if i dont use metal halides does the lighting still need to be 30cm above water level?
