I have a 46 gal bowfront that has a 36" single fluorescent bulb. Question is there enough room in the existing shell to put in a single 96w compact in?
Short answer is yes. AH Supply sells them. They are meant for retrofitting standard lighting with CFL,
The long answer? It depends on how good you are with DIY. But at $60+shipping, you won't find a deal much better than that. Oh yeah, search the ebay for the replacement bulbs, as it's not included in the kit.
