I found this co2 regulator on ebay -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CO2-Regulator-Electr...oQQcmdZViewItem

Only problem is its for refillable co2 bottles were as im looking for a co2 kit that will use disposable bottles because there is no were near me in n.ireland that refills co2 bottles.

Is there anyway of converting this regulator so that it will accept the likes of th d&d disposable bottles???

Thanks

As far as I know there isn't a way of converting a refillable reg to a disposable reg.

I can't find them on line after a little searching but there are adaptors that you screw into the large thread in the refillable regulator to allow it to use disposable bottles (after reading Sam's reply maybe I'm wrong) I know there are hose extension kits that let a refillable attach to a disposable. alternatively just buy a disposable regulator.

This link is where I bought my disposable regulator from (2nd item down) 2 gauges and you unscrew the welding attachment and insert your needle valve. I then have a solenoid valve fitted inline.

Contact them and detail exactly what you have and what you wantto do and make them aware it is for aquarium use so they don't asume that youhave welding tools etc and they will help you (the reg is a cheap price anyway)

I buy my disposable bottles from this site 3 x 600g for £29+shipping (Other suppliers sell these bottles with 390g in them for a similar or higher price so a bargain really)
