Hi;
Quite some time back I read a thread which showed massive savings if you were to make your own "Prime" from "Safe" Powder.
I wrote the conversion on the 1 litre bottle I used and all has been great.
However, the written conversion has faded to the point that I cannot read it.
Do any of you use this method and have the number of Tsp of Safe makes 1 Litre of Prime? I THINK it is 4-1/4 But do not want to chance it.

Chlorine: 1/4 tsp for every 300 gallons.
Chloramine: 1/4 tsp for every 75 gallons.
One important note: Safe is intended to be used immediately (or very soon after) mixing. It is not intended to be premixed and stored for long periods of time like Prime.
I contacted Seachem a few years ago about this and they provided the above information.
I use Safe in my ponds and it works great.
