Hi !

so i've make a thread several days ago about killer feeder shrimp, which in conclusion the shrimp i bought is probably whisker shrimp and they're most likely killing my other fish. I've been removing most of them from my tank, but today as i remove the remaining shrimp, i saw at least 1 tiny shrimp almost the size of a rice. Now i'm afraid my tank will be infested with those shrimp, can you guys give me some recomendation to control this shrimp population ? i know betta will gladly eat them, but my previous betta already killed by those shrimp and im not sure if i want to put another betta in there. Catching them with a net is pretty hard since my tank is small and have many plants. Any suggestion is appreciated ! thanks.

btw my tank dimension is 60x30x35cm (17 gallons)

Do you have any idea what the baby shrimp was?

There is pretty much nothing you can do except remove them when you see them. Or you can dose some copper in the tank. But be careful with this method.

Google shrimp traps. There’s one you can make pretty easily with a plastic water bottle. I used it when emptying my shrimp tank. Didn’t get all but did get some.
I used to make these for when I caught minnows in the stream around my house, lol.
