I am starting an oddball collection, although these fish may not all be odd, but they are just different to normal eveyday fish. I will be 1 Rainbow Shark, 1 Spiny Eel, 1 Black Ghost Knife and 1 more which I have not decided upon yet. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me an odd fish that is reasonably cheap and grows to a maximum of around 6 inches. Thanks.

you could try one of the small species of polypterus. there is also the butterfly fish.

How about a nice Banjo catfish...definately weird looking (like a dead leaf) and an effective snail predator.

How about some freshwater gobies, there are many species which come from australia so they shouldnt be hard to find.
