I have two stunted pacus that were given to us after they had grown up in poor conditions. Many of you have seen Mongo, but a couple of weeks ago, we got Chongo. He was being kept with a school of red belly piranha :crazy:

so he's missing some tail, but other then that he seems alright :thumbs:

This is the tank that's in our dining room next to a window, so it has a huge glare all the time, I apologize for that.

Mongo's 7 1/2 inches and Chongo's about 6 inches

They are both teenie compared to my pleco :blink:

I'm trying to find something that I could make a cave for them out of, because they are really shy, but I'm having a hard time thinking of ideas....any suggestions? :thumbs:

as for a cave..use a red clay flower pot turned on it's side ...
you can get nice large ones at most dept stores or a lowes/home depot type store.

I think the flower pot would be cool, and it's an easy idea. :thumbs:

Another one could be to take some large pieces of flat slate and stand them up against each other. Thats what I did for my Clown Loaches and they LOVED it. :thumbs:
