Contacting Mods

I`ve just sent a pm to ianho regarding spam posted on the forum, however I`m not sure if he`ll get the msg before any of the other mods so.....I clicked on simonas to send a pm but I`m not allowed to send another pm 'until a later date apparently'
Why are the options for contacting mods limited to how many pm`s can be sent? Surely contacting the mods is something that doesn`t need to be limited

if you want to notify the mods about spam, hit the 'report' button in the thread. This sends a message to the mod team rather than an individual mod.

no worries......they always seem to be very quick at reacting to spam once reported via that button.

all pms are time limited to 30 seconds i believe and thats not just to mods

There is a limit of one PM every 3 minutes. This is due to spammers joining to access the PM system, and spamming every member, 12,000 PM's in 24 hours some time back.
