Constant Flarring?

hi there, i read a few things with peeps who keep their bettas in seperated tanks and they are always flarring, but does this not cause stress? thanks in advance...

Not really,
They will normally flare when another image of a fighter appears. More aggresive ones flare at change around the for example when you feed them they will flare at the food.
Sometimes if they flare too much it can result in damaged fins but that rarely happens.
