Mature Males are bigger, more colourful and have longer fins,

With 10 in the tank then yes they may well breed, if they are fed frozen prepared foods like bloodworm and have regular water changes,
However as the eggs are spawned onto soft leaved plants and you will most likely find that these get eaten by other fish

Hi as the other lads said plenty of live food but what i found when i used to breed fish like these including most other tetras was plenty of water changes but what worked for me was that the water was allways cold possibly this simulated the wet season and cold water running off the hills i dont know but it worked for me all the best frank

Males also have white edges to their anal fins  they are beautiful fish, I've kept them twice before but sold them for change arounds, I am getting some more this month and intend to keep them! They are crazy fish, they actually watch T.V. and are very peaceful contrary to reports, I've never had any scraps. I've always kept 2 males : 3 females.
