I just got these guys about a week ago (2 males, 3 females). Most of the time since they've just been schooling, but this morning their behavior was different. One of the females was in the plants above one of the logs and a male was swimming close beside her, then swimming all the way underneath her. They did this over and over for a few minutes (don't know how long before that). Anyway, I was wondering if this is spawning behaviour  .

Yes, that's spawning behaviour. Don't expect to see any fry; the eggs get eaten very quickly in an aquarium with other fish.
