Congo Tetra Or Tiger Barbs?

I have a 55 gallon tank (4'x1'x18"). I wanted to get some congo tetras or tiger barbs. Im not sure how they will get along with my other fish. I have 8 black skirt tetras, 3 rasboras, 3 zebra loach, 1 guppy, 1 pleco. I don't want the tigers to nip at the guppy but I heard that if there are enough of them then they wont bother the other fish. And I don't want the congos to eat the rasboras because they are small. What do you think? and how many?

i dont have too much experiance, but id say tiger barbs over the congo tetras...
maybe 5 or 6 of them
just one guppy?
you could get more
or get a cheap 10g tank and set it up as a guppy species tank

I like congo tetras but it is all up to you. if you get congos, just give the males some time and they will become breath taking.

The only reason I have one guppy is because the others died. I started out with like 6. but I'm not sure if I really want more of them so I just decided to leave him by himself. But he made friends with the rasboras and he swims and plays with them.
