Conflicting Data

How big can giants actually get? I have seen some sites say 3.5", and others say 7", and everything in between.

Also, does anyone know where I can find large, good quality giants? My fiance really wants one, so I've been looking, but have only found one site, and I'm not sure if it is really reputable.

A full gaint will get to 7", a half gaint will get 3.5"

In that case, I think I actually have a half-giant!!! I didn't even realize, I just thought he was a big boy. He was a Wal-Mart rescue!

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can actually find true giants?

I've seen some pretty beastly bettas, but never a giant. Some just tend to grow into large fishies.
