Being sold as an Imperial black pleco and to me looks like an L350 but unsure so thought I would check before properly delving into research journals.

Being sold as an Imperial black pleco and to me looks like an L350 but unsure so thought I would check before properly delving into research journals.

I doubt if it's a 350, extreamly rare still in the trade and not to mention expensive for larger species, picture would be best.

not sure, have you looked on those catfish websites, as you know the number etc might help

it could be a L90 but doubt that the tail isn't coloured

it's a lot larger than i am used to seeing them, but yes, it is probable.

Seeing the pic now i have to agree with above, stunning plec m8, just put it on somewhere else to confirm but id go with the 350 now..... curious how much is it priced at?

L350 Black Imperial Hemiancistrus - 5 available
5-6" x 2 - £100ea
7-8" x 1 - £135
9-10" x 2 -£175ea (these two are truely stunning fish, they have a lyre tail like I have never on anything)

quite expensive imo but very nice

The bloke selling them gets some absolutley stunning fish, these 350's are amazing.. get very big but amazing all the same... they get caught as a pure white fish then within a couple of days turn jet black.

I want ... wish i still had a tank big enough lol

i'd love one too but no room at the inn at the mo and we are signing for a new bigger house in the morning so ive got to figure out how to pack all my fish and turtles and huge tank lol im not looking forward to that hehe

There absolutley stunning as a white fish but the black just has somethink about it


I feel for ya, ive had to move largish tanks in the past and the hassle it casues is a right pain lol... good luck

the big tank takes 4 people to move it about lol so pretty heavy all the others aren't too bad
