condy anemone

Okay okay my friend bought us a condy anemone the other day and right now it's all small and everything like its shrinking...plus some brownish stuff is coming out....is everything okay or should I remove it?

I know you said 'never mind' but just an FYI
The brown stuff is most likely waste (it comes out of their mouth)
Its shrinking can mean many things, low water quality, not enough lighting, ect..

They do shrink from time to time, it's normal. Also the brown stuff is probably poo

I would lift the rock tha thte anemone is placed on and bring it to the surface. Smell the anemone, if its smells bad (and you WILL know ) then get rid of it fast!
If its smells like fresh seawater then its still healthy.

thanks everyone! sorry it took me so long to replying, I guess he was just using 'the bathroom' lol...I took him back to the lfs yesterday along with a blue damsel who became very very aggressive...thanks for all the advice!
